Chicken-65 is a deep fried chicken dish originating from Hotel Buhari,Chennai, INDIA. It is served as a starter or as a snack. Its one of the south-indian dish that is enjoyed by everyone. Here is my version of chicken-65.

Ingredients:
Boneless chicken – 400gms
Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – ¼ tbsp
Chilli powder- ¼ tbsp
Pepper powder – ¼ tbsp
Corn flour – 2tbsp
Maida – 1 tbsp
Rice flour – 1tbsp + ½ tbsp
Egg – 1
Curd – 1tbsp
Lemon juice – 1tbsp
Salf – As per requirement
Oil – For frying
Preparation:
- Take the boneless chicken in a bowl and marinate with the above ingredients except pepper powder and ½ tbsp rice flour.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 mins.
- Now heat oil in a kadai/ fry pan for frying.
- Add the pepper powder and the remaining rice flour to the chicken mixture before it goes into the fry pan.
- Deep fry in oil and enjoy lip-smacking chicken fry.
Note: You can slit 2-4 green chili’s and add to the chicken while marinating. This will give an extra flavor to your fry. You can fry them along with your chicken and enjoy spicy chili fry.
